This photo was taken on an early production sample Lumix GX1 with the new 45mm-175mm x lens. The lens is a compact zoom by wire lens and pairs well with the new GX1.

On the GX1 the 45-175mm lens is equivalent to a 90mm-350mm zoom. This is a long lens for street photography but as you can see from the image above, it allows you to get closer to the subject.

The GX1 is a light, fast and discrete camera. It’s ideal for street photography. I’ve posted three articles about the GX1:
