Photography by itself is a powerful story telling tool. But when it’s combined with just the right amount of text, it’s dynamite. A portrait with a little bit of narrative can bring the story to life. Who is this photo of? What is their story? Why did you take it?

For the 50 Faces project you can ask your subjects whatever you’d like but we recommend three simple questions. One from their past, one from right now and one about the future. For example:

1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

2. Where would you like to be right now?

3. If you could be anyone for a day, who would it be?

You might like to mix it up but be sure to note down their answers so you can post the answers along with their portrait.
